How To Improve Your Handgun Accuracy?

You grip the pistol in a firmness, but not as if you where strangling a rubber chicken. If your hands are shaking, then you using way too much pressure. The idea is not to drop the gun; not choke it to death.

You do not control the muzzle flip - you ride it. The recoil should do all the work, and your arms just lifts and bends naturally. If you try to fight the muzzle flip, you will most likely end up trying to anticipate the recoil which will cause the shot to go off. This is one of the most common errors people make - they try to stiff arm the recoil, but they don't understand the recoil occurs AFTER the bullet leaves the barrel.

The other most common error is pulling the trigger. The trigger should be squeezed and the moment the gun goes off should come as a surprise. It is absolutely important that when you squeeze the trigger, you are not moving the hand(s) because ANY movement will mean the barrel pointing at the bull's eye drifts off target. This is where breathe control comes in - you want to take a full breath and exhale about halfway, hold, and start squeeze the trigger. This is because when you inhale or exhale, your whole upper body moves which translate to movement of your arms, hands, and the gun.
